Washington-Jefferson skatepark video for Gateway Class
The video below is short edit that was part of a class project about public park funding in Eugene, Oregon. The WJ skatepark is the largest covered skatepark in the country. Even though biking to and from the skatepark in the rain could be a hassle, it was all worth it when I got underneath the bridge and watched the skaters in their element. Richard Sweet, the interviewee in this video, was a great subject and the best skater at the park that day.
Willamalane youth basketball promotional video
For the same class, we were assigned a company to strategize on how to get more engagement and through digital production. Willamalane is a non-profit in Springfield, Oregon, that focuses on community services, from public parks to middle school sports programs. The video below was shot and edited by myself and two other University of Oregon students.
Social Media— Charity Bounce
I spent two months in Sydney, Australia, as one of two communications interns for Charity Bounce, an non-profit focused on engaging local and aboriginal communities through basketball.
I developed strategies for all of Charity Bounce's social media pages. It involved creating, scheduling and posing new content, such as the #BounceTips campaign seen above.
I also helped design a template for the newsletter, which Charity Bounce now uses. At various programs, we helped organize drills for the kids, took pictures, and interviewed participants.

OR Magazine
In June 2019, I completed a digital magazine production class called OR Magazine. A team of 20 students collaborated on nine features, each with a unique design the layout interactive features. I designed the three features, the two "Alternative Housing " stories and the baseball coach, using ReadyMag. I also wrote the part of the tree house story.
